Can we hide a search dropdown option (Status, Location, Type or Category) when searching for Sponsorships?

Can we hide a search dropdown option (Status, Location, Type or Category) when searching for Sponsorships?

The sponsorship page shows numerous filters including: Status, Location (Place), Type (Sponsorship Type) and Category.

Filters work by displaying the choices you create when setting up your program in REACH. For example, the default Category Filter will display choices from any Dropdown Custom Field created for your Sponsorship Type that is in use by any of your current sponsorships.

Let's say you create a Dropdown Custom Field titled Gender and have the options of Female and Male. These two choices will display in the Select Category dropdown on the Sponsorship Page.

If you only have sponsorships with gender option of Female selected, only the Female option will display in the Select Category dropdown. Once a sponsorship has been created with the gender option of Male, the Male option will then be available in the Category Filter Dropdown.

If you have also create another Dropdown Custom Field title Grades and have grade options of K, 1, 2, 3, 4 - then the Select Category dropdown will list all in use: Female, Male, K, 1, 2, 3, 4.

If you want to hide, remove or edit one of the dropdown options, here's how:

1. Hide the dropdown with CSS (basic)*:
