Can we create custom payment types for our offline donations?
Admins can create their own payment types for offline donations. These can be used to record single offline donations that were set up from your supporter's side with the bank or with a secondary payment gateway, for example, that have already occurred.
These will be shown on your Donations and can be filtered in your reports.
To do so:
- Go to Settings > Donation Setup
- Click on the Custom Payment Types tab
- Click Add Custom Payment Type
- Type in the name of your payment type (for example, ACH/Checking or ACH/Savings)
- Click Save Changes
When you then go to add a new donation (single donation or a batch donation), you will see the payment types as an option under the payment type dropdown.
